Well, I don’t know about you, but I’m politiced out for the moment, and it is after all a holiday weekend. So, let’s gp back a century when the army and the navy got together to try and kill the Airervice, and maybe they would have if not for one intrepid officer. Enjoy.
Of course, with the benefit of hindsight, we realize that in just over 20 years after this movie, Imperial Japan was destroyed by the team of the US Navy and the United States Army Air Forces, whose chief appears in this movie as a much younger officer.
As does at least one commander of the 8 United States Army Air Force, who in conjunction with the Royal Air Force made it nearly impossible for the German transportation system to function, beyond individuals skulking through the night.
A stitch in time as they say, but it was a near run thing.
